True Curves – Our First Ever Curvy Girl Collection

All brides deserve to have that perfect bridal experience, right? Unfortunately, we've been hearing left, right & centre about the struggles and occasional horrors plus sizes brides tend to go through, often leading to them not looking forward to shopping for their wedding dress. With the body positive movement pushing full steam ahead, many brands have started to release tailor-made curvy girl collections, but the bridal industry has been slower to catch up - unflattering dresses, frumpy styles, and awkward construction seem to be the norm, but it shouldn't be that way. In fact, we won't let it be. We don't want to hear any more horror stories - we want tears of joy, excitement at trying on a range of gorgeous styles and saying yes to the perfect dress.

At True Bride, we've always believed that brides should feel their most beautiful on their wedding day, and this mission is an integral part of who we are, so in March 2018 we launched our first True Curves collection. All of our bridal dresses are available up to UK size 36, but this collection is specifically designed with the curvy girl in mind; we have developed a new, luxury construction which supports and enhances right where it is needed and is naturally figure flattering. We've also lengthened boning over on the waistline to give the ultimate waist cinch and most importantly have not compromised on style - all gowns are either our best sellers redesigned for a fuller figure, or designed in our signature vintage-inspired True Bride style. 

From tulle ballgown skirts to 1920s inspired beading to waterfall capes, our Curve collection has something for every bride out there. At the moment we're swooning over our newly launched TC-W400 with its Gatsby-inspired beading and detailed full sleeves, there's no denying the wow-factor of this gown. For something more simple, but still guaranteed to stun your guests, our TC-W401 is the epitome of understated elegance and our TC-W403 is fabulous for a statement modern bride.

Launched in Spring, our first collection focused on revamping some of our bestsellers, including our Deco-inspired TC-W239, designed to give you an ultimate influx of glamour on your day. Our fit & flare TC-W225A with its delicate lace appliqués and V-neck plunge will fit perfectly into any themed wedding, whether you're going for something vintage-inspired, are a boho bride or fancy a colourful festival themed wedding.
